Our experience as the industry leader in weatherizing homes can help you improve your home's performance, durability, and increase its value while helping reduce your impact on the environment.

To help homeowners understand how they can improve energy efficiency in their homes, we’ve asked CSG's internal experts from our Applied Building Science and other teams to help answer some common questions and provide some energy efficiency tips for homeowners.

Q: How much can I save on my electric bill by improving my home's energy efficiency?

The more energy you’ve been using in your home, the more you can save. It’s likely you can save 10 to 40 percent on your electricity use. Older homes typically use more energy (both electricity and fuel) and have more opportunities to save. But newer homes are also likely to need improvements such as air sealing and duct repairs for HVAC efficiency.
