Strategic Alliances & Associations
CSG works closely with many local and national associations to help shape industry standards and public policy. These associations incorporate ongoing research to ensure building professionals are equipped with the best techniques and technology.
CSG also builds many strategic alliances in the public and academic sectors to further our mission of promoting energy efficiency and renewable technologies to reduce our impact on the environment and natural resources. These alliances are critical for sharing industry expertise, knowledge, and creating opportunities for jobs in the clean energy sector of the U.S. economy.
Our longest standing alliance and sister organization of more than 20 years, Energy Federation Inc. (EFI), is a perfect example of collaboration and teamwork to accomplish a common mission. EFI is a leading national wholesaler and distributor of energy-efficiency products. Our alliance allows us to serve clients seamlessly by delivering the right products to specific energy efficiency and clean energy initiatives.
Another example includes CSG's partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development, the Low Income Energy Affordability Network, and the Center for Eco-Technology. This collaborative effort produced a series of hands-on contractor training sessions dubbed the Weatherization Worker Boot Camp.
By focusing on mutual goals and solving common challenges, these partnerships have become key to CSG’s overall success.
